Kamal and Michael have spent almost two decades each as entrepreneurs, and have mentored over 100 companies each. This allows them to provide valuable mentoring and advice, helping them build relationships with the best entrepreneurs. Their personal returns on their angel portfolios are 4.4x and 10.3x respectively on 9 and 20 investments respectively.

They built strong relationships with their deal sourcing partners through Kamal's work launching the Founder Institute program in Toronto, and doing global program design work for them - and then through Kamal acting as President of the Canadian INSEAD Alumni Association.

Michael and Kamal have worked together on and off for the past decade, first in a startup (Skymeter), then together on a volunteer board (INSEAD), and lastly in Founder Institute, where Michael was one of the key mentors for the program in Toronto.

The investing partners are supported by a part time fund controller, eight part time venture partners, a full time associate, a part time investor relations manager, occasional interns, and > 400 advisors around the world.
