Rubsun Ho
CEO & Chief Crowd Pleaser


Rubsun is a co-founder and partner of Cognition LLP, a virtual law firm that was created to address the rising costs and inefficiencies of corporate legal services from traditional law firms. Rubsun began his career as a securities lawyer in the Toronto and New York offices of Stikeman Elliott, one of Canada’s leading business law firms. He left Bay Street to join Wysdom Inc. as VP of Business Development in 1999, where he helped raise US $57 million in financing for the wireless Internet startup. Rubsun has a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto.

Leah is the face of the company with our accredited investor community, partners and at conference and media appearances. Leah also works on the company’s regulatory compliance program. Leah comes from AceTech where she worked with the CEOs and senior Executives of over 100 of Ontario’s top tech companies. Leah loves working with startups and helping them grow and is thrilled to be a part of a team that is changing the way capital is raised.

Andrew Woods
Marketing Manager


Andrew wears many hats on the Crowdmatrix team and takes on a variety of challenges, including marketing, design and web development. Andrew loves working in the startup space and has previously organized and marketed specialty hackathon events for Hackworks and worked for mobile game developer XMG Studio in business development and marketing.

Eugene Levin
Product Manager


Eugene launched his first product at the age of 16. At Crowdmatrix, Eugene is responsible for understanding the needs of founders and investors, and acts as their internal advocate. As a former entrepreneur, he can easily empathize with the founders trying to raise capital for their companies necessary to elevate their game. Eugene believes equity crowdfunding will open up new opportunities for both companies and investors and is thrilled to be part of a team bringing a fresh approach to the Canadian crowdfunding landscape.

Daniel Lichty
Senior Technical Lead


Daniel attended the University of Waterloo for Software Engineering and is a full-stack developer with extensive experience building products for mobile and web. Daniel has worked at many early stage startups including Xtreme Labs, XMG Studio, Boom Gaming and MappedIn. When he’s not busy coding his interests include video and board games, drumming, piano, travel and cooking.
